Animal House & Medicinal Garden

Animal House Facility

Animal house provides care, breeding, and maintenance of experimental animals (rats, mice, rabbits, guinea pigs) for research projects under the guidance of the Institutional Animal Ethics Committee (IAEC).
Registered with CPCSEA (Reg. No. 1629/PO/a/12/CPCSEA), Ministry of Environment & Forests, Government of India.
Spacious experimental area allowing students to conduct research freely and safely.
Strict access control and detailed record-keeping ensure compliance and animal welfare.

Medicinal Garden

Established in 2006, our Medicinal Garden is home to over 48 species of authentic medicinal and aromatic plants. Each plant is carefully identified by expert taxonomists, properly labeled with botanical and therapeutic information, and maintained to support education and research in pharmacognosy and herbal medicine.

The garden serves as a living laboratory, promoting awareness about India's rich herbal heritage and the role of medicinal plants in primary healthcare.
