• Every college day is a meaningful & memorable occasion, marking an important milestone in the ongoing march of the institution.


• Nirmala College of pharmacy is established by the society of catechist sisters of st. Ann, Hyderabad. It is a self financed institution affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University and is approved by AICTE & PCI, New Delhi. Our college started D. Pharmacy course in 2004, B. Pharmacy course in 2006 & M. Pharmacy course in 2010. I am happy to announce will start one more prestigious programme in pharmacy i.e. Pharma D (Doctor in Pharmacy) this academic year.


• So far 390 D. Pharmacy &180 B. pharmacy students have completed and registered as pharmacists by state pharmacy council, Andhra Pradesh. 36 M. Pharmacy students have completed their M. Pharmacy.


• Our college has a very good team of committed, dedicative & well qualified teaching staff of 30 members out of which five doctorates in Pharmacy. Where as Non teaching, supportive and administrative staff includes around 45 no’s.


• Infrastructural facility: The college continuously upgrading the various infra structural facilities to provide the best quality of education. Our college is situated in area of 2.5 acres of campus. The college has total built up area of 7000 sq.mt.


• It has 22 well established laboratories, class rooms are well furnished with e- teaching facilities.


• A huge auditorium with 600 capacity, play ground for cricket, valleyball, throughball, tennicoit, ete.


• Hostel facility for girls, medicinal garden, 1200 sq.ft. Animal house as per CPCSEA guidelines.


• Computer lab with more than 65 systems and internet facility.


• Modern equipment worth about 50 lakhs has been procured different labs of Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmacology and other departments.


• Some advanced equipments procured during this academic year such as 8 stage dissolution apparatus, Bioanalyser, UV-Visible double beam spectrophotometer, Rotaevaporator, Plethismograph, Histamine chamber, rota rod apparatus, Brook field viscometer, 0.1 mg Shimadzu precision balance, etc.,


• Library facility: Library plays a pivotal role in supporting, sustaining & stimulating the process of teaching and learning. Our library is completely computerized stocked with 1210 titles &7500 volumes.


• Our institution is subscribing 55 national and international journals. In addition to that 25 e journals are subscribed from Bentham publisher & Globel infotech. During this academic year our management has spent more than 3 lakhs to upgrade the library.


• Faculty achievements: For the last academic year our staff members have published more than 25 research / review articles in various national and international journals. In this journey my personal contribution is 12 research papers in various impact factor journals, 1 Indian patent, 2 text books (under pipeline) 6 more papers are communicated and 2 more patents were applied to patent office, Chennai. • Miss. Swapna has published one National and three international papers under her guidance ten students won the prizes in various National conferences.

• Mr. Nagakishore also published one national paper.
