Pharma Expo
  • Nirmala College of pharmacy is conducting Pharma Expo (Exhibition in pharmacy) every year during 1st week of December with a great support of students.

  • Pharma Expo -2012 was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Prameela Rani (Principal ANU Pharmacy) and Dr. Madan Gopal (Head, Red Cross Society, Vijayawada)

  • On the occasion of 50th year of Golden Jubilee Pharmacy Week Celebrations 2011 and World Aids Day, Nirmala College of Pharmacy, Mangalagiri, Guntur Dist. has organized a two-day PHARMA EXPO exhibition in its premises on 1st and 2nd December 2011. On this event the Chief Guest, Mr. G. Ravi Kiran, Unit Head, Manipal Hospital Tadepalli, Guntur has inaugurated the Exhibition by lightening the lamp. Addressing the students he has expressed the importance of Pharmacist's Role in the Society and appreciated the Quality Education imparted by this college to UG and PG students.

  • The students of Nirmala College of Pharmacy have shown eye catching live demonstrations in various fields of Pharmacy profession. Pharmaceutical Technology; quality control and quality assurance of medications in Pharmaceutical Analysis using various instruments; Synthesis of drugs in Pharmaceutical Chemistry; drug activity in animal tissues and blood tests in Pharmacology and Physiology; Effect of various pathogenic organisms in plants, Alcohol production from waste materials in Biotechnology; and Natural herbs and medicines and aromatic oil production in Pharmacognosy. Recent advancement and trends and job opportunities in pharmaceutical field have been displayed through posters and multimedia presentations. About 700 students from different colleges have attended the Pharma Expo.
